There is A Cure for Diabetes

There is a Cure for Diabetes is the culmination of years of work by Gabriel Cousens, MD and his former Masters student, Research Assistant, and Head Fasting coach at the Tree of Life, David Rainoshek, M.A.

David Rainoshek, MA:
Dr. Cousens asked me to write this book with him after discussing the release of an upcoming film on his groundbreaking diabetes work at the Tree of Life. Persons in the low-glycemic Tree of Life 21 Day+ live food program routinely come off their medications within days. All Type-2 diabetics have been shown to be able to live in a non-diabetic physiology by adopting a low-glycemic diet of living foods, and many Type-1 diabetics are able to eliminate or nearly eliminate their use of insulin, effectively living free of diabetes.

This Program is revolutionary at that level, but it does not stop there. David Rainoshek offers his Juice Feasting Program for further cleansing, rebuilding, rehydrating, and alkalizing for clients who still have health challenges to resolve after the 21-Day Program at the Tree of Life. To make the transition into a diet of vegan/live foods more accessible, Cousens and Rainoshek offer two Cuisine options. One is the now famous Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine offered and taught by the Tree of Life Cafe. The second is David Rainoshek’s Four Means to Get Your Greens, a real-world, raw food paradigm that takes minutes to make, and is easily individualized by even the novice to the new Cuisine.

There is a Cure for Diabetes includes over 550 references carefully collected by Rainoshek, and incredible data on Dr. Gabriel Cousens’ client results, including graphs and charts such as the one seen above.

Never again will there be any doubt that diabetes has recognizeable underlying causes, and that the removal of these causes and the resolution of this debilitating condition is possible for those who are inclined to do what it takes. There is a Cure for Diabetes is more than dietary-paradigm oriented book, Cousens and Rainoshek are advocating nothing less than a change in lifestyle and world-view from the Culture of Death that has created diabetes in our times, to living in a life-affirming way at every level called the Culture of Life.

Hi Juice Feasting Crew,

November 14 is World Diabetes Day. As you may know, I was Research Assistant to Dr. Gabriel Cousens on our groundbreaking work, There is a Cure for Diabetes. What we show you in the book is that Type-2 Diabetes is completely reversible (it is actually a crisis of culture as much as it is a crisis of diet/nutrition),and those with Type-1 diabetes can significantly reduce or completely eliminate their use of oral hypoglycemics and insulin.

Sadly, diabetes organizations worldwide still claim that diabetes is “incurable,” as opposed to letting diabetics know they can live normal lives in a non-diabetic physiology. Check out these statements:

“Diabetes has no cure. It is progressive, and fatal.”The New York Times

“Diabetes is an incurable disease and is an urgent health problem in the Latino community.”  – American Diabetes Association Website, 2007

“Diabetes is an incurable disease that affects the body’s ability to produce or respond properly to insulin” – American Diabetes Association Website, 2007

What we are finding is that the conventional wisdom is less than accurate, and the reason is that diabetes research to-date has not moved far enough up what I (David Rainoshek) call the Spectrum of Diet(TM). Fortunately, there is a film now available that addresses this possiblity.

Everyone loves film, so this email is to let you know about Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days which was filmed at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center where I worked as Research Assistant, Fasting Coach, and taught the academic portion of the apprenticeships for Dr. Gabriel Cousens. Simply Raw tracks participants in Dr. Cousens’ diabetes program, watching them go through the hero’s journey of reversing diabetes with a Raw/Live plant-based approach. On the right sidebar is a preview!

As an illustration of the the conventional worldview on diabetes, over 700 monuments around the world including the Empire State Building in New York and the London Eye in England are being lit up with blue lights, when they should be lit up with Green Lights. (For those of you into Spiral Dynamics, blue actually

Millions of people are gathering together for activities in Argentina, Slovenia, Italy, France and hundreds of other countries around the world.

However, what you won’t see at these events is information about reversing diabetes naturally through raw and living foods, as Dr. Cousens and I write in There is a Cure for Diabetes, or as you see in Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days.

The closest that the World Diabetes Day website comes is to mention that it is important to “eat a healthy diet”, with no explanation of what this means. Instead they talk about managing diabetes through drugs (not a surprise since they list 12 drug companies on their home page as sponsors):

So, in honor of the millions of diabetics around the world who are not being told the full truth about their disease today, myself and over a dozen other raw food experts are giving away a whole array of information in support of the documentary film “Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days.”

You can check it out here:
Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days

This film shows 6 diabetics moving through 30 days of eating only raw, living foods. See the film for yourself before you decide what the best solution is for reversing diabetes.

Do watch the film trailer above, if you have not yet seen it.

Also, if you’re not a diabetic and think that diabetes doesn’t affect you, then ponder this:

One out of three children born today in the U.S. will develop diabetes. According to a recent study by Johns Hopkins University, by 2015, 75% of Americans will be overweight or obese, and if we don’t turn things around, by 2030, 86% of Americans will be overweight or obese. Dr. Cousens and I estimate there are over 100 million pre-diabetics in the U.S. right now. Diabetes costs the United States alone $174 billion a year. That’s about as much as the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and the global war on terror combined. Overweight/obesity, and the concomitant diseases that result such as diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, etc. are so pervasive that the strain on human, economic, and political energy is so great to consider these preventable conditions a matter of national security.

The drug companies are working hard to push their drugs, as you can see in the Diabetes Day sponsors above. We could use your help today in letting people know the truth. If you know any diabetics, then please let them know about the information we’re giving away today. All it takes is one email or one call to change somebody’s life forever.

Make sure you can see the graphic at the top of this email to understand what we are talking about. What you see is the blood sugar of a Type-1 Diabetic returning to normal levels, without insulin, using a Raw/Live, low-gylcemic, plant-based approach.

Okay, so do check out the film, Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days and the book, There is a Cure for Diabetes by Gabriel Cousens, MD with David Rainoshek, MA.

We have a lot of amazing work to do. Thank you for bringing diabetes as a crisis of culture – and an opportunity for people to move up the Spectrum of Diet to heal multiple health challenges – into your beautiful awareness.

With peaceful steps,

David Rainoshek, MA

P.S. We have a whole day dedicated to diabetes on Day 72 of the 92-Day Juice Feasting Program, so do check it out as well when you become a member. I have placed my whole diabetes file on Day 72.
